What is a Tri-toon?
Unlike a traditional twin-tube pontoon which has two aluminum tubes, a tri-toon has three, plus more structural rigidity to handle higher horsepower outboard motors, and lifting strakes to quickly get the boat up on plane. The result is a boat that handles more like a traditional v-bottom boat, has the capacity, creature comforts, and room of a pontoon boat, yet has the capability to pull tubes with ease. Tri-toons ride and handle the best on choppier days. Tri-toons are great for larger groups or weekly rentals where you want pontoon and ski boat capabilities all in one!
