We are centrally located on the Inland Waterway on the Indian River, the river connecting two of Michigan’s largest inland lakes, Burt & Mullett Lakes. The Inland Waterway is Michigan’s longest chain of rivers and lakes. The town of Indian River is located right at the heart of it!
Near the towns of Indian River, Topinabee, Cheboygan, Alanson, and Oden. Just a short drive from Gaylord, Mackinaw City, Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Bay Harbor. Our location makes for easy access to the entire Inland Waterway.
Want to spend a day on the water, or maybe more than one, but don’t own a boat? Whether it would be a single day or a week, Indian River Marina can handle all of your rental needs. From an 22’ pontoon geared towards a more relaxed day on the water, to the 12 passenger 23’ Tri-Toons which includes a water tube so you can fly across the water at 30mph-plus and maneuver like no other rental boat on the water.
What is a Tri-toon? Unlike a traditional twin-tube pontoon which has two aluminum tubes, a tri-toon has three, plus more structural rigidity to handle higher horsepower outboard motors, and lifting strakes to quickly get the boat up on plane. The result is a boat that handles more like a traditional v-bottom boat, has the capacity, creature comforts, and room of a pontoon boat, yet the capability to pull tubes, skis, and wakeboards with ease. Of all our boats, the tri-toons ride and handle the best on choppier days. Tri-toons are great for larger groups or weekly rentals where you want pontoon and ski boat capabilities all in one!
